Financing: Financing agreement No 9 - SOL/001/05. 5. Contracting authority: EDF National Authorising Officer (NAO), Department of National Planning and Aid Coordination, Honiara, Solomon Islands. 6. Nature of contract: Fee based. 7. Contract description: The purpose of the programme is to reinforce the NSA network organizations with appropriate skills and means to deliver requested development services to their members effectively and efficiently and to enable a constructive dialogue with the government and donors. The support under the programme will subsequently be extended to other NSAs, notably those assisted by the network organizations. The programme will include management of calls for proposals for grants to NSA, and related training and capacity building. A management entity will be appointed deploying international and Solomon Islander staff. 8. Indicative maximum budget: EUR 245 000. 9. Intended timing of publication: First quarter 2006. 10.
